A silver Mercedes was hijacked last night at Springs Tshakane.
The vehicle has the following registration number VM L624 GP be on the look out. It is alleged that hot spot of hijacking is at Kwa Thema, the vehicle was hijacked yesterday 08 April 2022 night near kwa Thema.
The vehicle was reported to have been hijacked by two suspects who came driving a re polo, the registration was not identified. The victim was chilling in his vehicle and a male suspects came to his window banging it with a gun asking him to get off immediately.
Due to fear and there was nothing he could have done, the victim came of the vehicle and surrendered his car to the suspect. They drove off with his vehicle that night. The car has no tracking device the victim went to the Springs police station to report the incident, he was assisted by Mr Jones Khotlane.
The police took a statement and opened a case, the suspects are still on the run with the silver Mercedes. The police had informed other branches to be on the look out of the vehicle and the patrols conduct around Springs to be aware of the hijacked vehicle.
The wrote to the community of Springs to help them if there's any information they have they should contact the police using the emergency number, or come straight to the police station and ask for Mr Khotlane.
