A man took advantage of the hard life in the townships to lure young girls into his rented room.
The man would tell the young girls that he had a movie collections and they would excitedly go to his room.
Once in his room, they fell victim to a vicious serial rapist.
This came to light when a 32 year old man was arrested In Harare on allegations of rape.
It is stated that the man meticulously targetted his victims. He would target young girls aged between 9 and 12.
He would promise them a good movie and they would joyfully flock to his room without knowing the cruel fate that lay ahead.
National police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, confirmed the arrest.
“The suspect, Simon Ben (32), would lure neighbouring girls between the ages of nine and 12 to his room, where he would play porn0graphic videos before abusing the minors,” he said.
It is stated that at least 5 victims have come forward.
