People are being reminded of the late Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana shot stopper Senzo Meyiwa. He was brutally killed in Vosloorus, when he was with the family of his girlfriend by that time, Kelly Khumalo. Senzo Meyiwa has not found justice till to date. There are a lot of people who are accused and linked to his killing, however, no one has really been charged and put behind bars for murdering Senzo Meyiwa. There is a primary suspect in the murder of Senzo Meyiwa, who is also accused of killing the ANC councilor in KZN. He has been charged and linked to 6 murders previously. It won't be a surprise if he can be charged with killing Senzo Meyiwa.
“Notorious KZN hitman who killed ANC councilor also an accused in Senzo Meyiwa murder case: A notorious KwaZulu-Natal hitman who has been found guilty of the 2016 murder of an ANC ward councilor, is also charged with the murder.”
Legendary Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was murdered by a notorious KwaZulu-Natal hitman who was found guilty of the 2016 murder of an ANC ward councillor.
Fisokuhle Ntuli arrived in Richards Bay's Esikhaleni Regional Court on Tuesday to be convicted for the killings of Thami Goodwill Nyembe and five others. The case was instead adjourned pending the results of reports from a parole officer and a social worker.
Brigadier Vish Naidoo, a national police spokesperson, told the journalists out beyond court that Ntuli was one of the five people in court for the 2014 murder of Meyiwa.
"We also know that this defendant is one of the suspects in the Senzo Meyiwa murder inquiry; he is number five on the list. He is also a person of interest in a number of other instances in Gauteng, so this conviction is really gratifying. We are hopeful that, as a result of his conviction, he will be sentenced to a life sentence, removing a merciless killer from our streets "he stated
According to Naidoo, Ntuli was a person of interest in 14 other instances in Gauteng.
Bhutiza Mahlobo, who was killed down in KwaNongoma in 2015, was Ntuli's first victim, according to TimesLive. The following year, while travelling in his automobile with his wife, he shot and killed Nyembe. Nyembe's wife was seriously hurt. He subsequently went on to murder the Zulu brothers Sibusiso Phiwayinkosi, Mcebisi, and Sibusiso Elvis in January 2017, and Sphamandla Zungu in August 2018.
The Zulu brothers, according to prosecutor Cyril Selepe, would have testified against Ntuli in the Nyembe murder. "Some of those killed could have been possible witnesses in this case. The Zulu brothers were eager to come forward and provide police with information about the assassination of Mr Nyembe, a ward councilor."
Selepe praised the bravery of all the witnesses who came forward.
Ntuli was apprehended by KZN's special task squad on politically linked cases. Since its commencement in 2018, more than 280 arrests have been made, according to Naidoo. The work of the KwaZulu-Natal political task team has also contributed to a significant reduction in the number of attacks and fatalities in the province when it comes to political violence.
