The type of unpleasant news emanating from South African society is quite discouraging and calls for government urgent intervention because this issue of crime can no longer be handled by civilians alone.
It has become common to see and hear of terrible stories of how criminals attack unsuspecting victims all over the country and this situation seem not to be ending anytime soon considering the number of criminal cases popping up on daily basis.
In a recent development, a family in Zola Soweto has been thrown into serious mourning after their 8 days old baby got snatched by heavily armed suspects. The mother of the baby was carrying her along Hlelokhule Khumalo on Friday when the armed men driving in a white vehicle pull over and ordered her to surrender her baby which she did and the suspects zoomed off.
The bàby was putting on brown trouser, brown top and white baby socks. The family of the abducted baby are calling on South Africans to help locate their missing little one.
"A heavily armed man kidnapped an eight-days-old baby Hlelokuhle Khumalo on Friday 1 July. The new-born baby girl was kidnapped from her mother in Zola, Soweto. The unknown armed male was driving a white vehicle. The child was wearing brown trousers, brown top and white baby socks".
