RAMATLADI FAMILY Pleads for food and shelter

MYAKAYAKA VILLAGE - A family of 5 members from Myakayaka village, near Tickyline in Greater Tzaneen, is pleading with any good samaritan to donate food, second-hand clothes, school uniform and building material.

The Ramatladi couple is living in a two-room shack house with their two children and grandson. The husband Timothy Ramatladi(53) is unemployed while his wife Joyce Ramatladi (52) works at Kwanda.

They informed Tzaneen voice that whenever it gets windy or cold, troubles brews for the family as the Shack is unstable.

"We were staying in a mud house, which later crashed down due to rain "

"We tried to re-build the house but it was blown away by the wind which resulted in the roof going away" Ramatladi said

The ward 29 resident said they could not get RDP house because his stand is not on the map, the family continued to endure the circumstances for almost 7 years now.

An effort to contact the ward councillor was unsuccessful.
