Suspects aged between 48 and 30 years who robbed the Malamulele police station of firearms and ammunition were placed in police custody, this operation comes after many years of suffering from the ordinary members of the public who had to endure the criminality of these individuals.
Four suspects were arrested in Midineng village, outside Kgapane and 3 others at a local low cost lodge in Dwarsloop in Bushbuckridge. The ordinary citizens had to endure the crimes that the suspects have been perpetrating, these include hijackings, armed robberies, cash in transit heists and it is alleged that the suspects were discovered with police weapons as well as bullet proof.
So it is clear that they stole them or somehow they have connections inside the police services where they are able to illegally procure these weapons, a tip off was received about the suspects who were traveling from Limpopo to Mpumalanga in Bushbuckridge area to bomb an ATM.
The suspects are connected to many crimes that have been committed between the Limpopo province and Mpumalanga, in their possession were discovered explosives and semi automatic rifles that were used by the police. They also had blasting cartridges, blue overalls, balaclavas and hand gloves.
They usually assault the security guards of the premises and then they proceed to set up the explosives and blow up the bank, the suspects were traveling in a white Toyota Hilux double cab as well as a Mercedes-Benz C Class which were both seized by the police in order to be used as evidence and to be forfeited to the state for being the proceeds of crime.
