Armed robbery syndicate apprehended by officers.
At approximately 13:50 officers received intelligence of a business robbery in Amalinda Main Road, the officers were quickly disposed to the area in order to attend to the situation because the suspects were believed to be perpetrating a robbery and getting away with a lot of things.
Officers followed up on information to Mdanstane Nu5 whereby they did a raid and managed to successfully recover about hundreds of phones that were believed to be stolen by the suspects, on the premises they also recovered two of vehicles which are connected to crimes that have been committed around the country.
The suspects will now be facing the full might of the law, the police are going to investigate further in order to determine the extent of the suspects’ criminal activities and then they are going to charge them accordingly.
A Toyota Corolla and an Opel Corsa were recovered along with one firearm that was taken off one of the suspects, the suspects have been connected to two shoot outs with police officers and are being implicated in multiple robberies.
