Taxi Driver fight ends in 4 Dead people - Taxi violence

The four departed drivers are partnered with the Witwatersrand African Taxi Association (Wata).

All Wata taxi activities have been stopped on Thursday because of the assault, as cabbies don't have a solid sense of reassurance rioting.

It has been asserted that the occurrence is connected with the continuous quarrel with Nancefield Dube West Taxi Association (NANDUWE), over taxi courses.

Wata representative Hamilton Miya would not be brought into theory with regards to this issue.

He said: "We don't want to point fingers at anyone. We maintain that the police should have the option to go about their responsibilities without being affected by theory."

He approached Police Minister Bheki Cele to enact the 72-hour actuation plan and send off a manhunt for the culprits of the assault on their drivers.

MEC for Gauteng Public Transport and Roads Infrastructure Jacob Mamabolo is supposed to meet with agents from Wata sometime this evening.
