South Africans are left in complete shock and disbelief after a 34 year old maj was stabbed to death inside the premises of Zithulele Hospital by an ex boyfriend.
According to the SAPS news report, the deceased, his girlfriend, and friends where drinking inside the room of the deceased at Zithulele Hospital on Saturday 11 September 2021, an ex boyfriend of the deceased's girlfriend came to the room and knocked on the door looking for her and calling out her name.
The deceased's girlfriend opened the door for the suspect (ex boyfriend) and he entered the room, the suspect and the deceased began to have an argument which led to them fighting, the suspect pulled out a knife during the fight and stabbed the deceased several times on his upper body.
The deceased collapsed onto the ground and by the time help came he had already succumbed to his injuries, the deceased died at the premises of Zithulele Hospital he was working as a professional nurse there.
A case of murder was opened and the suspect was later arrested the same day, he will be appearing at Mqanduli magistrate court today 13 September 2021 to face a charge of murder.
