French Kiss Step 1
Keep your lips soft. A soft, smooth and slightly moist mouth is ideal for kissing. Before entering, you must make sure that your lips are not chapped or dry so that your partner is not distracted or discouraged by the condition of your lips.
If you want to soften your lips before kissing, you should try these quick fixes:
Use lip balm. Spread some on your lips and press them together.
(If you're a girl and have flavoured cocoa butter, even better!) The only downside is that you have to apply lip balm or gloss an hour or more before kissing so that your kissing partner will feel your soft lips, not the thick shiny ones on them.
Drink water. Dry lips are a sign of dehydration, so throw in a full glass of water (or two). You should notice that your lips start to smooth within 20 to 30 minutes.
Lick your lips. If you are really in trouble and have no time to waste, quickly run your tongue over your lips and press them together. This should moisten them slightly without making them runny or slippery. You can also lightly lick your lips while making eye contact with your kissing
French Kiss Step 2
Refresh your breath. You'll never want to have bad breath when you're about to kiss someone, whether it's a French kiss or not. Since your mouth will be open in a French kiss, fresh breath is especially important. Practice good dental hygiene. If you know you're going to kiss someone, take a second to brush your teeth or at least rinse your mouth with water.
Always carry mints or mint gum with you if you think there's a chance to kiss someone while you're out. If you want to be slim, you can quickly suck on peppermint or chew gum for a minute in the bathroom so you don't make it too clear that you're ready to kiss.
Avoid foods that leave an unpleasant aftertaste or residue, especially garlic, coffee, onions, milk and corn. If you have a dinner date before the big kiss, try to eat strategically.
