Lisa Majenge Mthembu a professional nurse at the Gauteng department of health shared pictures of her beautiful supportive family taken on her graduation day. The pictures were accompanied by a short motivational message.
"It didn’t happen “by the book” for me. First fell in love, got married, had Phawu, enrolled at Nursing School, had Liya, then graduated! I’m here to remind you that our journey’s are unique and I wouldn’t have had it any other way for me because this was my proudest moment having experienced it with my husband and our two kids! Definitely was not easy but sooooooo worth it".
The mother of two is living proof that marriage doesn't have to be an obstacle to achieving your dreams. She took a different route most people wouldn't have taken, but she didn't let marriage get in the way of her education. Today she is a proud nurse and has a beautiful family. "my husband, Words will forever fail me when it comes to you. Ngiyabonga Mvelase (thank you) for EVERYTHING!".
