Women today often wonder what their spouses are capable of doing to them, which causes them to constantly live in fear. This is due to the fact that there has been an increase in the number of people who are being killed on a daily basis by their spouses, leading many people to question what exactly it is that leads males to behave in such a callous manner toward their relationships. It should be made clear that people are capable of finding solutions to their problems without resorting to killing one another. It always results in the women's having their partners take their lives.
Since last week, there has been a trending story of a lady who was brutally killed by her boyfriend at Seshego. Phuti Mama Olof was brutally killed by her boyfriend, who beat her up and stabbed her to death before he ran away. It was fortunate that he was caught and arrested at Lebowakgomo on Monday. Many people have been asking what happened that made him so cruel to kill the woman he claims to love.
He was appearing in court on Wednesday. Throughout the court preceding, it was revealed that he killed her because she wanted to cut ties with him. She didn’t want to be in a relationship with him anymore, so the guy was in denial about the breakup. Those who closely know him then said that the girl has been trying to dump him for too long, but he has been in denial.
After the motive for the killing was revealed, many people were so angry. Some even said he should be given bail so that community members could deal with him through mob justice. It is true that southern Africans are tired of the abuse of women and children. But the bigger question is "what is the government going to do to stop it?"
