As the mother of two lovely children, Aisha Ake is unable to see or see them since her husband married a second woman, stole her children, and then chased her out from the family home.
Aisha was married when she was 13 years old, and she was completely unaware of the marriage. In whatever they did with her spouse, they sought the advice of their mother-in-law first.
Everything seemed to be going swimmingly at first, until her husband decided to take a second wife. She was OK with him marrying as long as he supplied for the children and maintained his respect for her.
Everything changed once her husband married his second wife, and to make matters worse, he brought his second wife to Aisha's house, where they attempted to live together but found it difficult.
Her husband could no longer eat the food that Aisha made for him, and he even requested her to leave his home, but she refused, fearing that her children would suffer if she did not stay.
When she was chased away on this specific day, she was viciously beaten up in front of the second wife, and she was eventually thrown out of the house.
The children were left in the care of the two adults, and Aish was left with little option than to report the entire occurrence, despite the fact that she never received custody of her children.
The father of her children filed for divorce from her by text message, and that was the end of their marriage. She has not been able to spend quality time with her children, and she has been unable to obtain justice for them.
As a result, she is appealing with any Kenyan lawyer who may be willing to aid her in obtaining custody of her children, as she is well aware that her children are suffering at the hands of their stepmother.
