GA-RANKUWA – A woman has just been beaten to death by a man in Zone 5,Ga-Rankuwa. The merciless attack was launched by the husband who never gave reason why he has suddenly beaten the woman, it is very tragic and sad that we have incidences where there are women being harassed by their husbands and boyfriends when the law should be protecting them from such vile acts.
The man is currently holding the woman’s children hostage and he was threatening the woman with them, it is very common to find such struggles for power in relationships because the man or husband has decided that it should be a fight.
Relationship fights are one of the most difficult things to deal with because we have incidences where the husband and wife are fighting amongst each other but they also love each other, the fights would be temporary but the people outside the relationship will think that the only logical conclusion would be to basically separate but that is not an option most of the time.
South African Police Service are yet to come up with another strategy as they await negotiators to arrive at the scene.
