A lady recently took to social media pictures of herself and her husband getting married at a church. What caught people's attention was the fact that it was just the two of them and the pastor who were in the pictures.
The lady mentioned on her caption that this was her perfect little private wedding. However people couldn't help but express how they didn't see how it is private given the fact that she posted on social media. Some argued that it was no longer as private as they wanted it to be because it is all over the internet now. See more of people's reactions down below;
"The event itself remains private. The memory of it (past tense) does not. Pictures & videos are not actual events, they are captured memories or reminders of actual events whether the events themselves were private or public."
A private wedding shouldn’t be on social media. Should have been captured my “economically conducted wedding”. - only a face mask was purchased!
"Got married the same way. In retrospect, it was the best thing ever. In a garden in Pretoria, three people- it was perfect"
This better that wasting millions on people who might try to destroy your marriage.
Share your thoughts on the comment section, do you still consider it a private wedding even though it is posted on social media afterwards?
