4 Things You Should Avoid Discussing With Your Pastor As A Married Woman

As a married woman, there should be some boundaries that you adhere to while discussing your family problems and difficulties with your spouse and your pastor. The following are three topics that you should avoid discussing with your pastor as a married woman:

1. You should never tell your pastor about your husband's performance or strength as a man, even if he is your spiritual godfather. It is unethical and could damage his ego if you continue doing so.

2. Your children's performance: I understand that your husband is your spiritual godfather, but you should never tell your pastor about your children's performance or strength as a man. Second, I usually advise married women not to bring up the subject of money with their pastors, since money is a very sensitive subject, and many women end up having a soft place for any guy who can provide for them financially.

3. The third issue that I always tell women to avoid discussing with their pastors is the issue of fidelity. Your pastor is not a marriage counselor, and as a result, you should avoid discussing such issues with him.

4. Financial concerns: Another issue that I always tell women to avoid discussing with their pastors is the issue of your husband's financial concerns. When you are dealing with problems of faithfulness in your family, it is always advisable to seek the advice of an experienced marital counselor.
