Usually, a person's relationship status depends on that person. Some people decide to stay single because they can't handle the stress of being in a relationship. Some people decide to look for a partner for life and get married.
There are, however, some people who do want a life partner and to get married, but they have problems in their lives that keep them from being with the person they want.
A woman in her 40s shared her story on social media, which got her a lot of attention and helped people understand why she had been single for about 7 years. She typed:
"I'm forty. Since 2014, I've been single. I don't drink, I don't smoke and I don't have kids I don't have a partner because I'm not sure what I want."
A lot of people felt sorry for Ger when she said that one of her flaws is that she doesn't know what she wants. People who don't know what they want usually have a hard time making decisions. They will change their minds a few times until the other person gets tired of it and moves on.
The fact that she said she didn't drink or smoke was a clear sign that she was a normal person who didn't have any red flags, which are signs that someone is up to no good.
But a lot of people helped her feel better and told her there was nothing wrong with being single at age 40. Not everyone gets married and sets down roots at the same time. Some people do take a bit longer than others. Life doesn't have a schedule.
"You've got my back, I know it. It's okay to not know what you want in a relationship when you're 40. As we get older, our priorities change, and this can be a little bit confusing for other people." wrote someone on Twitter.
I hope that the beautiful woman finds a life partner soon.
