However, this accumulation of liquid droplets is also a complicated and fascinating natural phenomenon from a scientific standpoint. It's interesting to note that clouds, regardless of their appearance or shape, are all composed of either ice or condensed water. Warm air begins to evaporate and rise to the sky when the sun heats the ground. A cloud is created when these water vapor particles group together. It will eventually reach us on the ground as rain or snow if it continues to grow and join more water crystals. Otherwise, the clouds just dissipate into nothingness.

In 1802, a British manufacturing chemist and amateur meteorologist named Luke Howard was the first to present a nomenclature system for clouds. Today, clouds are classified according to their size, height, formation method, and other characteristics.

Air Is Produced by Water Vapor Evaporation.
Cloud-forming water and ice are carried into the sky by air as water vapor, a gaseous form of water. A significant portion of the liquid water from lakes, rivers, and oceans evaporates and enters the atmosphere as water vapor. Air becomes cooler and is under less pressure as it rises in the atmosphere. Some of the water vapor condenses as the air cools. Some water vapor also condenses as the air pressure decreases. The vapor condenses into tiny water droplets, creating a cloud.

When water vapor has a particle to condense upon, it is simpler for it to condense into water droplets. These specks are referred to as condensation nuclei, and examples include dust and pollen. A cloud eventually forms when enough water vapor condenses on dust, pollen, and other condensation nuclei.
