Gravity is a very important phenomenon that we encounter every day of our lives, but the earth is a very large place, and we are bound to come across places where general rules do not apply. This article demonstrates 3 locations on Earth where the effects of gravity are not felt.
The force of gravity holds us and everything else on the earth's surface in place. Newton proposed the law of gravity, which states that there is an attractive force. However, there are some odd places on the planet where this gravitational force does not appear to work. You have to see it to believe it because it appears absurd. The following is a list of places where gravity does not apply.
The Mystery Spot in California is just one of many gravitational anomalies observed around the world. This location was discovered in 1939 and opened to the public in 1940. You'll be surprised to learn that the laws of gravity do not appear to apply in the enigmatic area. It features a'mystery cabin' that appears to be collapsing, people walking in a crooked manner, and objects rolling upward. You really have to see it to believe it.
2. The Hoover Dam is a hydroelectric dam in the state of Nevada, in the United States of America.
If you ever visit Nevada's Hoover Dam, try this trick: pour water from a container over the dam. You'll notice that instead of flowing downward, water starts to flow up. The reason for this is that the dam's structure creates a massive updraft, while the wind propels the water upward.
3. Ladakh is India's Magnetic Hill.
The Magnetic Slope, located on the Leh-Kargil-Baltik national highway, is a small hill capable of drawing cars uphill. Some even claim that planes flying through this area should increase their altitude. However, if you put your car in neutral and turn off the engine, it will begin to move gently on its own. While some believe the region has magical properties, others argue that this is due to an optical illusion caused by the layout of the area. Whatever the reason, seeing automobiles move on their own is a rare sight.
