Luyanda Potwana, the presenter of SABC1’s Nyan’ Nyan’ ( a TV show that seeks to mend broken and conflicted romantic relationships through confessions and therapy) , has landed in East London, Mdantsane, and this has caused a major stir on social media.
Potwana posted this picture on his official Facebook page and captioned it as “silungisa uMdantsane, sigubhulula nabakhonzi” which is Xhosa and in English it translates to “we’re fixing Mdantsane, and we’re even going for people of Christian faith”.
This probably hit close to home for Luyanda, as he was born in Mdantsane, grew up and studied there.
However, the picture made something of a controversy as it is the first time that he and his team have ever gone to fetch a person from church, and what makes it even more surreal is that he is doing this in his home town.
