OPINION: You Are Worshipping On The Wrong Day (Part 1)

My humble prayer is for you to comprehend the significance of this day of Sabbath believe me it is not just an ordinary day, but a victorious day for Lord Jesus Christ. Sunday it's a painful reminder of what Jesus Christ went through to pay the price for us. I am still continuing explaining the Bible verse by verse so enjoy Genesis 2: 1-3.

Genesis 2:1-3 (KJV) Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

God does not explain to us what he went through before he reached this day of rest. It is no longer a secret that one of the great war was raged against God by Satan, but he doesn't share how he felt and what he had to go through during the war. The only thing he shared with us is that he found rest on Saturday. He remained silent about the nitty gritty of the war, but you chose to remind him of what he had to pay as a price for us. Let us look into Genesis 1: 1-5;

Genesis 1:1-5 (KJV) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

This is a spiritual matter but I will do my best to explain it for you to understand what really happened. Reading through the above verses it's difficult to see or feel the emotions of God except he was walking in the darkness a place without end. This moment was not pleasurable for him believe me he was challenged and his kingdom was under severe attack by his own. There is a place I want us to travel to read Matthew 26: 36-39

Matthew 26:36-39 (KJV) Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Jesus Christ at this time he was aware that the time has arrived that his own were about to accuse him falsely, mock him and lastly hang him on a tree like an animal, and this his disciples didn't know. This is painful for me to share, but that's what he wants me to do so his soul was exceedingly sorrowful even unto death. Imagine if you knew how your own family were about to chastise you, sexually abuse you and thereafter kill you just because they hate you. I mean how would you fee? It's better if they catch you by surprise but when you know in detail what they are about to do to you my sister, and this is the day you are Worshipping him, no, no, maybe you don't understand. I know you are going to mention resurrection, so let us move to John 20: 27;

John 20:17 (KJV) Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Jesus Christ looked at Mary and said, the job is not yet done, no, it's not yet complete on this first day of the week. I still need to present myself and everything I accomplished to my father, so Mary please don't touch me! I have not ascended to my father for his approval and only then it will be complete. Saturday it is a victorious day after Jesus Christ have presented himself then God said, " I bless Saturday and sanctify it because in it I found rest from Satan."

You are Worshipping on the wrong day and be on the lookout for part 2.
