Hidden Truth — Jesus And Judas Iscariot Were Closely Related And From The Same Tribe

Many preachers are contended in telling you that Judas Iscariot sold Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. However, not many of them are interested in telling you that Jesus Christ and Judas Iscariot are closely related. First, Jesus and Judas Iscariot are from the same tribe of Judah. In fact, Jesus and Judas Iscariot were related. They were also very close. Judas had almost nothing to do with the rest of the disciples, who were Galilean's. Judas reported only to Jesus. Jesus personally chose Judas to be his steward because he knew that Judas was honest to the core, and he could be trusted with any amount of money. During Jesus’ mission, money literally poured into Judas’ lap. Judas was the Jesus’ right-hand man, his treasurer, steward, and the organizer of the mission.

The fact that Jesus Christ chose Judas Iscariot as his treasurer, showed that they were quite close. No one chose his enemy as his steward or treasurer. They are reputed to be second cousins. This is partly the reason Jesus may have made him the treasurer. Jesus had very many options regarding whom to make the treasurer,, but he picked him because not only were they from Judah, they were also from Galilee. This is why a Bible analyst, Katrina D. Says that, “They must be distant cousins from Jesus’s maternal family. Jesus is the Son of God which needs greater emphasis in the context of human civilisation, in which we are all related to one another, hence the commandment to love our fellow human siblings and cousins”. People just assume that the betrayer was an enemy from the beginning, simply because he betrayed Jesus. It's not so. Jesus would not have allowed his enemy to occupy such an important position.

There are many people who were related to Jesus that bears the name Judas. For instance, “Judas the Brother of Jesus — Mark 6v33 — Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offence at him.

Judas (Jude) the Brother of James (the Brother of Jesus) -Matthew 13 55 “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas? Fifty-six Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?”

Judas, who travelled with Silas — Acts 13v22 — Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas (called Barsabbas) and Silas, men who were leaders among the believers”, it is only people who are from the tribe of Judah that answer the name Judas.

Of course, Judas Iscariot didn't abide by all he learnt from Jesus Christ, however, that does not mean that he was an enemy of Jesus Christ from the beginning. They are from Galilee. The fact that Judas Iscariot hanged himself in the field is the more reason he is demonised by gospel preachers. The Bible made us know that he was full of remorse when he saw that Jesus had been condemned to die. He did return the money,, but it was too late, Jesus had been condemned already. The money could not be accepted back by the authorities,, so it was used to buy a field known as field of blood because it was bought with the money dubbed blood money.
