PRAYER: Lord, Please Help Me To Learn From My Mistakes

"We wanted to come to you, and I, Paul, wanted to come to you again and again, but Satan kept us from doing so" (1 Thess 2:18).

Any tangible or immaterial obstacle that interferes with or delays action or progress toward achieving a goal, objective, purpose, or end is an impediment when one sets out to achieve a goal, objective, purpose, or end. Throughout history, God's children have experienced a variety of delays in the kingdom's operations. Variables that are both known and unknown can cause problems. They can affect both highly anointed instruments and faith newcomers. They can also broaden one's horizons and open doors that one has never considered before. It is the attitude that follows stumbling blocks that aids in the manifestation of the result, whether negative or positive.

Paul planned to visit the Thessalonians numerous times throughout his epistle to them, but he was unable to do so. He was stymied. Despite his revelation gifts and Holy Spirit enablement, he remained stymied. Physical or spiritual impediments can exist, and they might be man-made or self-inflicted, government-sponsored or diabolical in nature. Its goal, no matter how evil manifests or acts, is to thwart God's plan and the happiness of the saints. The good news is that Paul surmounted his physical limitations by composing and sending two Epistles to the Thessalonians, which have proven to be a source of blessing for many generations of Christians. Allow no obstacle to detract from God's plan for your life. Here are some tried-and-true guidelines for conquering obstacles:

1. Be spiritually sensitive in order to receive divine guidance.

2. Recognize that strategy takes precedence over energy.

3. Consider new ideas.

4. Develop a never-say-die mindset.

5. Keep your goals in front of you at all times and keep going.

6. Be willing to go above and beyond.

7. Have faith in God's grace to help you overcome.

The Christian test includes obstacles. They are chronological, but God is eternal.

CONTROLLING THOUGHT: Obstacles are actually stepping stones.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to learn from my mistakes and go on.
