Shepherd Bushiri’s pastor – Apostle Eric Bhuka from the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church was shot dead in South Africa.
The news was confirmed by the church's leader Bushiri on Facebook.
"I am greatly pained to learn of the tragic shooting to death of Apostle Eric Bhuka, one of our ECG Pastors in South Africa," the statement read.
The self-proclaimed Bushiri further explains that the Pastor was shot at the mountains while he was praying.

Church members were shocked after receiving the news. They have sent their messages of comfort to the family and church members.
"He was one of the pioneers of ECG Olieven Home Cell together with Apostle Noah Mwedzi and his son, Apostle Chris as well as other women and men of God in 2015. We will greatly miss him," wrote Cecilia.
