Opinion: Walking in humility is a great blessing find out why

1 Peter 5:5 says “Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud and givers grace to the humble.”

You can never really walk with the spirit of God unless you are submissive to God and his word. When you yield to the father, it shows true humility and is a sign that you act on the word and are independent of your circumstances. It’s about honoring, regarding and giving preference to others, because the Word says so.

Philippians 2:3 says “Do nothing from factional motives [through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends] or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility (lowliness of mind) let each regard the others as better than and superior to himself [thinking more highly of one another than you do of yourselves].” Don’t overlook your brothers and sisters in Christ and your church leaders. Be submissive.

Demonic presence is evident in pride and unsubmissiveness. Satan wasn’t submissive to God, he was a proud figure and for his arrogance, he was removed from his place of honor by God. Therefore, it is a decision that you must make to be humble. It’s part of the manifestation of the life of Christ in you.

Hebrews 13:17 says “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” It’s all in vain if you lack humility and aren’t submissive.

Walking in humility is a blessing. If you use it for your life and use it to guide you, you will see how much blessings will come over your life.
