7 Signs That You Might Be Having The Gift Of Prophecy

Prophecy is one of God's most powerful gifts to man. It is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In other words, a prophet is a seer who can see into the future and foretell events and events long before they occur.

The gift is one of the most important since it is in high demand, and many people are always curious about their future and what is likely to happen, making a prophet such an essential character. Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and other prophets are among the Bible's most prominent men. Jesus was also a prophet, but he was much more.

God revealed to Jeremiah that he had known him before he was born and that when he was called, he had assigned him as a prophet to the nations. As a result, God may call someone to be a prophet years before they are born. How can one tell whether or not they have prophetic abilities? If these things affect you, it's a sign that you've been called to be a prophet.

1. A good stomach feeling

Do you have a strong gut instinct that you trust the majority of the time? Something horrible is about to happen, you have a feeling. You could be doing something completely unrelated when you have the uneasy sense that something horrible is about to happen, and it does. This is a clear sign that you are being called to be a prophet by God.

2. Constant daydreamer

Dreaming is very common, and almost everyone, if not everyone, will dream at some point in their lives. Do you ever wake up wondering how something you dreamed about came to be? Good is the one who gives men dreams. If you have a habit of dreaming, make a note of what you're dreaming about and pray if something bad is about to happen. You will have an excellent idea of how to interpret dreams if you develop the habit of reading the Bible.

3. Have a desire to be holy.

Instead of conforming to the patterns of this world, Romans 12 encourages us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Are you attempting to live up to God's holiness requirements, and is this your top priority? You appreciate carrying out God's will, and you make every effort not to sin against Him when circumstances arise that tempt you to compromise.

4. Belief in God.

You can sacrifice anything for God, and some people may perceive you as overly religious in some aspects. You want to establish a close relationship with God because you love Him.

5. You work as a negotiator.

Is it true that you like praying for people and that you have a special place in your heart for those who haven't yet been born again? You have a burden to pray for the nation and its leaders every time you pray. Prophets work as intermediaries between God and man, and the fact that you do so may suggest that you have a prophetic calling.

6. You pray for extended periods of time.

Are you someone who appreciates spending time in God's presence for extended periods of time? You cannot be satisfied by praying for a short length of time, and you might pray for hours upon hours. Both the Old and New Testament prophets had the same tendency of praying for long periods of time.

7. A tremendous desire to know what will happen in the future

Do you have a strong desire to walk in the prophet's anointing? When you see other men of God prophesy, it inspires you to desire to do the same. That's a sign that God wants you to be anointed in the same way they are. Because God is the one who fulfills the desire, it follows that God is the one who fulfills it.
