The Holy Spirit and Continuous Fellowship

As we have discussed that it was the Holy Spirit of God that enabled things to be. In other words it was the Holy Spirit that made things to happen. God speaks and it is the Holy Spirit that enables the spoken Word to manifest. Genesis 1.3 And God said, ‘Let there be light’: and there was light. And so it is today. It is the Holy Spirit of God here on earth that enables the believer to live out the manifested work that is already done in Heaven.

The Holy Spirit is not an object that one may describe as an inanimate object such as ‘it’. Many in the church today describe Him as an object –‘it.’ The Holy Spirit is a divine person. John 14.16-17 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. As you can see from this scripture that the Holy Spirit is described as ‘Him’ - which is the masculine pronoun. In 2 Corinthians 13.14 Paul speaks about fellowship with the Holy Spirit and the communion of the Holy Ghost being amongst the believers. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. If the Holy Spirit was some piece of item or article on earth, there would be no way for us to have a relationship going with Him. There is no way that one can have a relationship going with an inanimate object. Inanimate objects are things like tables and chairs, things that have no life in them. Thank God for His Holy Spirit and the privilege to have Fellowship with Him.

Let's Pray!
