'Should You Drink Water When Fasting?' Read Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Response To The Question

At some point in their lives, every religious person must have asked the question whether I should drink water during my fast?' Some Christians occasionally have been too tired during their fasts, therefore they are relieved with a bottle of water, only if they have interrupted their fasts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a popular pastor and televangelist, offered a teaching on the controversial subject via his internet teaching platform. In one of his lessons the Senior Pastor of Believers' Love World received a series of queries. One of the questions reads, "It's all right for someone whose throat is dry in a quick drink of water because it doesn't contain a foodstuff."

Pastor Oyakhilome says: "There are several sorts of fasts, fasts when you don't want to eat or drink, that is up to you and how God's Spirit brings you to that moment. There are other kinds of fasts when you don't want to see anyone, whereas you can fast and go to work at other times. There are other fasts in the world where you want to keep away from television, telephones and other gadgets, so you decide what speed you want, depending on what you're looking for."

Pastor Oyakhilome went on to question, "Why are you fasting? Why are you fasting? That's what determines your fast's gravity and gravity. This does not mean that some fasts are more severe than others, it really depends on what you want to do and how your religion works actually. If it is a rapid group organized by your fellowship or cell, you must do the quick way the group has selected to go quickly. If you decide to quickly from 1 p.m. in the early morning, do it because you're in a group and you're not going to die if you're away from water during that period."

I hope you've got the response you've been waiting for? Thank you.
