Your word for the week. Let Go and Let God.

I don't know whether it is our lack of faith or we just believe in meddling and trying to do things on our own. Most of us pray a lot and somehow we fail to wait on the Lord. We no longer find ourselves giving deservedly glory to the Lord because after praying we got involved and when miracles start happening we are not sure whether it is us or its God.

2 Chronicles 20v15: And he said,"Listen , all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: 'Do not be afraid or dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's.

If you read the whole chapter 20 and I suggest you do, you will realise that as the enemies of King Jehoshaphat and Judah gathered and prepared to attack. The king and people of Judah knew that they were out numbered and their army could easily be defeated and they turned to the Lord. Because our Lord is a good Lord he assured them that the battle they are facing is not theirs but its His and none of them would have to even lift a finger but the battle will be won and it was so.

In whatever you facing or going through right now, you just have to sit back and give God his place. In that way you will only be able to see him work miracles in your life. be it your marriage, work, family, kids or friends that are gossiping about you and have left because you going through tough times be rest assured that battle is not yours to fight but God's.

For you to completely witness God's miraculous and mysterious ways , you have to allow him to work without your meddling and thinking that you can do things by your self. next time they try to provoke you because they know you are a human and we tend to act out of emotions remember to say nothing for you Jesus will speak for you and when He does the earth will be shaken.
