Herman Mashaba sends messages of condolences to Reverend Meshoe

Reverend Kenneth Meshoe is best known as the leader of African Democratic Christian. 

In 1976, Reverend Kenneth Meshoe married Lydia Meshoe.

He and his wife, Lydia, joined the Christ For All Nations in 1976. In February 1980, he found employment as one of Reinhard Bonnke's associate evangelists. He completed his second-year Theological Diploma at the Shekinah Bible Institute in Kingsport in the US state of Tennessee in 1987. In 1988, when he returned to South Africa and launched his church, the Hope of Glory Tabernacle. After the apartheid government unbanned all Black political parties in 1990, Rev Meshoe founded the African Christian Democratic Party in December 1993 and has been a member of the National Assembly since 1994. He got three children with his wife Lydia. They renewed their vows in 2016. Lydia had previously served as a representative of the ACDP in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.

As of 2019, the ACDP has four members in the South African Parliament, and one member each in the provincial legislatures of Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng. ACDP has always mantained good relationships with the DA since 2016 Coalitions in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth.
