Prayer: Lord, Please Give Me Wisdom So That I Can Build My Home In Accordance With Your Will

"A wise woman builds her house, but a foolish woman plucks it down with her hands." Proverbs 14:1

Read: 1 Peter 3:1-6

The focus of today's topic is on 'wives,' not just 'women.' The truth is that not every woman is a wife. In Jesus' name, I hope that God will grant that good wish to those who are trusting the Lord for a joyful change of status this season.

The task of homebuilding is divinely assigned to wives, not mistresses or 'bed-partners.' This is due to the fact that neither a mistress nor a bedpartner possesses the divine ability to construct a godly abode. Wisdom, beloved, is what makes a woman a wife, and "the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom," according to Proverbs 9:10. More importantly, Jesus is the insight that enables a woman to become a godly wife and subsequently a homebuilder. When you let Jesus into your life, you stop being an ordinary woman and start being a virtuous and godly one.

In today's Scripture reading, the phrase "by the speech of the wives" is something we should pay attention to. 'The wives' refers to God-fearing women who are known for their chaste discourse and overall conduct, which is motivated by their fear of the Lord rather than their husbands. When a wife constructs her home, she is wise. Wives, on the other hand, would be unwise to demolish their homes on their own.

Unfortunately, many women today have demolished their houses and are now wandering aimlessly through life's "streets" without any protection. They may act as if everything is fine, but the truth is that they are hurting and harboring deep regrets over their past deeds. Some of them, now referred to as 'old wives' or 'ex-wife,' are out for vengeance, training younger spouses how to demolish their homes so that they can join them in roaming the'streets' of existence. Be wary of these liars, sisters. "But shun profane and old wives' tales, and practice thyself rather unto godliness," 1 Timothy 4:7.

If you desire peace, joy, and advancement in your home, you must be submissive to your husband, regardless of your achievements. I bring tranquility to whatever is bothering you at home. In Jesus' name, I declare glory to whatever reproach your family is facing today. Make the sensible decision to welcome Jesus Christ into your home now.
