"He transformeth a desert into a pool of water, and a barren region into water springs (Psalm 107-35, NET)
God's ways frequently defy human comprehension. However, they are always done on purpose, rather than by chance, to increase substance and quality. There were other ways available to Israel when they began their journey to the Promised Land, but they were guided into the desert. There, God's people's superficial relationships were addressed. The chaff was separated from the substance; in other words, the wilderness serves as a training ground for the objective that one aspires to achieve. When the wilderness is no longer visible, the experience it provides is lost. There are Christians who believe in God no matter what the weather is like, and there are Christians who believe in God no matter what the weather is like. It's all about the stuff you're made of. Wilderness may be altered, but only those who have experienced both sides can understand.
The wilderness experience is unpleasant. It has the potential to make the heart so disillusioned and desolate that it becomes speechless. David had times in his life when he could declare to himself, "I was dumb with silence." They brought him down from the tree and placed him in a sepulcher, Paul declared in Antioch of the Lord Jesus Christ. God, on the other hand, raised him from the dead." "And Saul sought him every day," the Bible says about David, "but God delivered him not into his hand." Saul possessed great strength and power, yet God reigns supreme!
Although companionship and comforts are consumed, the rescuer remains. Nothing will be able to separate us from God's love as long as the Keeper of Israel does not sleep or sleep. No matter how many clouds amass, they will amount to nothing in the eyes of Jehovah. Faith in God, the Creator of all things, may turn any desert into fertile ground. It took a long time to get to the promised land. Despite Saul's pettiness, David became king. The presence of Roman troops at Christ's grave site was ineffective in preventing his resurrection.
You will arrive at your objective, regardless of your current circumstances, if you have confidence in Christ. When the Lord starts something, He will finish it. With the Lord, there is no such thing as a dropped endeavor.
CONTROLLING THOUGHT: Unless God is not given a chance, every journey with Him will end in prosperity.
PRAYER: For all-around success, Lord Jesus, be in my boat every day. Amen.
