PRAYER: Oh God, Please Help Me To Be Diligent In Whatever I Do

Go to the ant, you wuss/ Think about her ways and be wise (Prov.: 6:6 NKIV)

Nature and other living things can teach us valuable life lessons. We can learn from and be knowledgeable from the ants' simple remarkable routines. Ants are social creatures who live in groups. Sometimes the population swells to half a million people. The insets known as ants are not mentioned frequently in the Bible. In Proverbs 6:6-11 and 30:25, the ant is praised as the supreme example of industry and planning. In Proverbs 6:6-8, the ant is praised as the supreme example of industry and planning. Proverbs 30:25 mentions their intelligence and ability to give food, despite their status as "a weak people." The wisest king in history, King Solomon, advises, "Go to the ant, study her methods, and be smart (v5) Despite the fact that they have no commander or ruler, they plan for the future (vv. 6-8)

What an important lesson for our generation to learn. Many people expect to succeed in life without making any plans or preparations. Planning ahead will ensure a good future for you. Many people lack the necessary planning and preparation, opting instead for the easy way out. Some naive students forsake their studies for Yahoo or prostitution, while others participate in cultism, ceremonial activities, and armed robbery, among other things, in their quest to become wealthy or successful.

Unfortunately, some parents even encourage their children to engage in these deplorable behaviors. Instead of rebuking, some pastors encourage these practices. They guarantee prosperity without the need for hard labor. Keep in mind that the goal does not justify the methods. Regardless of who is involved, evil is evil. Character, honesty, and hard effort will be used to measure success.

Paying attention to the ants' crucial lesson in their knowledge and capacity to prepare for the future "A rainy day would rescue many people, both young and old, from future misery and sorrow. Success in life isn't something that happens by chance. Rather, every achievement is the result of careful planning and preparation. "When chance meets preparation, success occurs," as the saying goes. Deferring immediate enjoyment in exchange for greater long-term achievement is a sign of maturity. You will be better equipped for success if you work more in preparation for your future. It is a waste of time to have no education; it is not a waste of time to study a trade; it is not a waste of time to have no cross, no crown. Let us put our money where our mouths are. God promises to bless our labors of love (Deut. 28:12)

THOUGHT CONTROL: Determination is the mother of success.
