Should We Stop Giving Pastors Tithes? See What The Bible Says About Christians Tithing.

Giving is something we all love as it gives people happiness and joy especially it even uplifts the downtrodden souls. Thats why in the Bible Jehovah God told his people of Israel to take every tenth of their plants, animals and food and go to the mountains with poor people to eat, drink and enjoy their harvests. Jehovah God did that to help poor people and levites.

If one studies the Bible carefully you will find that tithing started during Moses days. The command to tithe was part of the Mosaic Law, a law code that God gave to ancient Israel. Christians are not legally subject to the Mosaic Law and so are not required to tithe. Read this on Colossians 2:13, 14. Instead, each Christian is to contribute financially withot being forced or put under compulsion as you 2 Corinthians 9:7 says: “as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

But what pastors is doing is different; if you don't pay a tithe or collection they get angry with you. If you give what you have that becomes a problem too. Because their wish is for everyone to pay a lot of money; especially if you have businesses Christian leaders will come wit enticing words for you to pay the tenth. Tomorrow the clergy will be driving an x class Mercedes Benz.

Yet According to the Bible it's not a must for Christians to tithe as church leaders are wrongly using Bible verses to scare congregants to pay. Again the first person to tithe in the Bible was Abraham after he gave the Priest of Salem. (Genesis 14:18-20). There is no evidence in the Bible account that Abraham or his children tithed again. Again the second person to tithe was Jacob who promised Jehovah God that he will give him a tenth of everything he received. And Jacob gave his tithe in the form of animal sacrifices not money. Indeed Jehovah God is a God who owns the universe his riches cannot be counted; therefore why should God grief for a dying man's money. What our greatest father wants is pure pray and worship not money. He is rich.
