OPINION: First Prescribed Animal Diet

Greetings to you and through everything one always should put trust to the Almighty God because without him there is no point in living, and remember time is full of evil so pray at all material times, and also pray for anything you come in contact with for you to remain blessed. I am still continuing with explaining the Bible verse by verse enjoy verse 30 and 31.

Genesis 1:30-31 (KJV) And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Firstly let us define the word herb so that we should all be on the same page.

Herb is defined as any plant with leaves, seeds, or flowers used for flavouring, food, medicine, or perfume.

This was the first diet prescribed for all animals, birds, creeping things and everything that has life in it. I am not imposing anything but I am painting a picture into the Word of God to highlight some few small things, and please consider Genesis 6: 21 to further highlight my interpretation.

Genesis 6:21 (KJV) And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.

At this point in time Noah was not having a headache of always have to watch his back for fearing that one of the beast might sneak up on him, because all animals were eating according to the prescribed diet as mentioned on Genesis 1: 30; so let us check Daniel 6: 22

Daniel 6:22 (KJV) My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Here it is clear that the first prescribed diet for animals have changed because God had to send an angel to come and shut the mouths of the lions or else they would have eaten Daniel.

Genesis 1:31 (KJV) And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God looked at the things he made and said, it was good, and the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Look out for Genesis 2: 1-3!
