If Any Of These Things Can Separate You From Christ; Then It Means That You Are Not Persuaded

"And being completely certain that he was capable of delivering on what he had promised." Romans 4:21

Read: Psalm 82:2-4

Demas, Paul's co-laborer, was taken aback by his love for the world in 2 Timothy 4:10. He had become a victim of his own comfort. Many individuals are becoming prayerless today, and their faith or trust is migrating away from God and toward unknown riches. They are now inclined to believe that money can solve all problems.

If you find yourself in this scenario, repent quickly before it's too late. Anyone who served God with their hearts while destitute but couldn't sustain it after they had wealth and luxury is not entirely convinced of their trust in Christ. Paul states in Romans 8:38-39,

"For I am certain that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, shall be able to separate us from God's love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord"

If you look at Paul's list, you'll see a man who has entirely surrendered to God. He has nothing to fall back on now that he has burned his bridges. Many individuals still have a backup plan when it comes to God. Such people argue, "Let me try God 80% of the time and put my leg in something else 20% of the time so that if God fails, I won't lose everything." Don't squander your time! If you approach God in this manner, He will undoubtedly let you down.

When you put your faith in someone or something other than God, you are no longer relying in God. If money can divide you from God, it means you haven't made a sincere decision to follow Jesus. You are not convinced. Paul claims that even if he is put to death, he will not deny Christ. Even if all the angels in Heaven revolted against God today (which is impossible), he declares that they would be wasting their time if they persuaded him to repudiate Christ.

He said that no amount of evil influences could persuade him to abandon his faith in Jesus. He claims that no amount of current or future technological improvement will be able to shake his faith in Christ. He claims that no promotion or demotion can take Jesus away from him. He can't be separated from Christ by whatever he loves. That is a man who is completely convinced!  How convinced are you?

For many believers, the internet has become a big stumbling obstacle. If you've been a victim of something, now is the time to break free and redefine your relationship with it.
