Was Prophet Isaiah Shembe, The Nazareth Baptist Church Leader Really Sent By God?

There are quite a lot of church leaders that have claimed to be sent by God and end up being exposed as fraudulent. Look at what happened with Pastor Bushiri, can we honestly call him a man of God without having doubts?

Mattew 7:15 says, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in Sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Most false prophets come to us as good people with good intentions, only to find out that they are actually deceiving people.

The first Nazareth Baptist Church Leader, prophet Isaiah Shembe, also claimed to be sent by God. What usually makes it hard to believe someone who claims to be sent by God is that there is usually no evidence to back up their claims. We live in a world where a church is viewed as a business.

If Prophet Isaiah Shembe was really sent by God, why is his church against some of the teachings of Jesus Christ the son of God? You are probably wondering what I am talking about, let me share a few verses with you.

The above screenshot clearly states that one man is to have but one wife. Was prophet Isaiah Shembe given so much power that he disregards the teachings of Jesus? If he was sent after Jesus then why was he so against the teachings of the second testament?

1 Timothy 3 verse 12 reads, "Let deacons each be the husband of one wife, managing their children and their own households well." Deacons are instructed to have one wife. Jesus himself obeyed the commandments, did Shembe hold a higher position then him?

Deuteronomy 17:17

"And he shall not acquire many wives for himself, lest his heart turn away, nor shall he acquire for himself excessive silver and gold." Do not acquire many wives for yourselves, a man must have one wife.

If he was sent by God, were there others who inherited the leadership position also sent by God? If yes, when did God talk to them? I believe that God talks to a person and sends him to do his work.

"Moses answered, "What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, 'The Lord did not appear to you'?"" Here God was sending Moses to rescue his people in Egypt. God talks to people and gives them power to do his work, the miracles performed showed that God was indeed with Moses.

Moses obeyed the 10 commandments given to him by God. Why did Shembe not keep the teachings of Jesus Christ?

What proof do we have that Shembe was sent by God? Don't talk about miracles because false prophets also perform miracles using the name of Jesus Christ.

"For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." - Matthew 24:24
