Twitter users are not happy about what happened earlier today at King Goodwill Zwelithini's memorial service. This is what they spotted.
"I wish amabutho can demand a ceremony where they will be allowed to send off the King in a Zulu way, a standard that represent the Zulu pride not that mess we saw today,Pastors running the show,English everywhere,Prince Mangosuthu failed the Zulu nation today." Other Twitter comments went on to say that King Goodwill Zwelithini asked to be buried by the church. " But isn’t this as per his request? Was he not a Christian"
"Apparently he asked to be buried by the church." another member tweeted.
Another Twitter user posted that, "President Cyril Ramaphosa and other mourners escaped through the fence as Amabutho blocked the main gate.
Amabutho are not happy with how the service was organized, iSilo's memorial service was more western and Christian." This Twitter user is a hypocrite, she claims to be a Christian herself and she calls her self 'Marxist' which is a Western ideology, such hypocrisy.
People responded to her tweet with these messages. " The King wore a chapelet. Their monarch chose a Roman Catholic name. What did they expect?"
"Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi and King Goodwill Zwelithini are Christians. When the King was still alive he used to thank Jehovah."
"Maybe it is only fitting they behaved the way they did. But the very same Amabutho didn't have a problem when he received western medical treatment before he died. Mxm....nonsense."
