PRAYER: Lord, Please Show Your Strength In My Life This Month

In the face of onslaught from the kingdom of darkness, many Christians are terrified. This is in stark contrast to the Babylonian mindset of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These young Hebrew men recognized their God as powerful and fearsome, and they boldly declared it to King Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 13:16-18).

In warfare, our God is powerful and formidable. He has never lost a war and will never lose one. According to 2 Chronicles 20:22-23, as I have preached on numerous times, our God is a land-based war-Lord. According to Exodus 14:23-31, he is also more effective than any Chief of Naval Staff in maritime fights. According to Isaiah 30:30, the Lord Strong and Mighty is more effective than any Chief of Air Staff in offensive air combat. This was demonstrated in Joshua 10:11, when He battled on behalf of the children of Israel under Joshua's leadership.

"And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel and were on their way down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast big stones from heaven down upon them unto Azekah, and they perished: they were more who died with hailstones than those whom the children of Israel slaughtered with the sword."

You have no reason to be concerned about enemy attacks. "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" declares the Psalmist. Whom shall I fear because the LORD is my life's strength?” (Psalm 27:1)

The requirement that assures supernatural safety for God's children is stated in Isaiah 59:20: ".....unto them that turn from transgression..." According to Isaiah 59:1-2, the Lord can only battle on behalf of those who have reconciled with Him by sincere repentance; sin exposes a person to hostile attacks without any spiritual defense. As a result, make sure your life is free of any wickedness that could render you exposed to the enemy's onslaught. According to Psalm 24:8, our God is The Lord Strong and Mighty, The Lord Mighty in Battle. Every sincere child of God bears witness to this.

In Jesus' name, the Lord will demonstrate His strength and majesty on your behalf now and forever.
