Are You Prepared For The Storm?

"Let us therefore confidently approach the throne of grace, that we may get mercy and find grace to assist us in our hour of need" Hebrew 4:16.

The Holy Spirit frequently employs the qualities of storms to teach about human situations, as shown in Matthew 7:24-27. As a result, I feel that knowing the nature of storms will aid us in overcoming life's obstacles. Storms are powerful atmospheric disturbances that are frequently accompanied by rain, strong gusts, thunder, lightning, or snow. Storms often make their victims utterly powerless as they approach at tremendous speeds, leaving them with little or no alternatives for protection or counterattack.

As a result, hurricanes have the potential to leave a path of catastrophic destruction in terms of lives and property. The good news is that God has complete control over storms, regardless of their nature. Even the most powerful storms are under His command.

The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and the storm, according to Nahum 1:3, and several other Bible passages show God riding on the wings of the wind and riding on storms (2 Samuel 22:11, Psalm 18:10, Psalm 104:3).

God answered Job out of the whirlwind as if He had been reclining there in Job 38:1, and in Mark 4:39, Jesus Christ arose, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” in the midst of a terrible storm. The wind stopped blowing and there was a tremendous calm as a result of His instruction.

I demand every blazing storm in your life to stop right now, in the Name that is above all names. Because there is little that can be done to prevent or defend against a roaring storm, the Holy Spirit teaches that preparing for it is the best course of action.

The significance of preparing for life's storms is so great that today's Bible reading divides humanity into groups based on their preparedness. The wise are referred to as such, whereas the foolish are referred to as such. No one will be spared from the storm's adversity, whether clever or foolish. As a result, you must be sufficiently prepared for storms by clinging to Jesus, who is a safe haven in the midst of chaos! In the name of Jesus, God will deliver you from every trial.

Prayer point: Father, grant me the wisdom to prepare sufficiently for life's storms. Please lead my feet to the location of all-around assurance in You, in Jesus' Name, for You know everything before it happens.
