Beware Of Applying Gentleness In The Wrong Way

"The law and the prophets were in force until John; since then, the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it." Luke 16:26

Read: Matthew 11:11-12

Gentleness and meekness are spiritual fruits that God's children must possess. Some Christians, on the other hand, have misconstrued scripture's exhortation for gentleness to mean tolerating anything, including those who should be dealt with brutally. Since the time of John the Baptist's appearance to preach it, attaining the kingdom of God has required violence, according to the Bible.

This is because, just as God has made provision for us to enter the kingdom via Christ, an opposing kingdom of darkness is trying everything it can to prevent us from enjoying the benefits of God's kingdom. As a result, you'll have to resort to violence against your foe. No, you're not expected to treat Satan and his agents with kindness! The Bible's Luke 16:16 gives us a clearer picture of this:

"The law and the prophets were in force until John; since then, the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it."

The utilization of divine energy is required while pressing into a location. In the face of any opposition, this implies turning to violence. This is why you must be strong in the Lord (Ephesians 6: 10–13) to avoid the enemy gaining the upper hand and pulling you away from God's magnificent plan and provision for your life.

Satan, demons, and everything they represent must be severely dealt with. Satan must be resisted and demons must be cast out (James 4:7). (Matthew 16:17). As a result, all manifestations of them must be halted, including bonds, ailments, diseases, sorrows, death, and so on. Furthermore, the flesh is not to be taken lightly; it is a devil's accomplice, and it strives to fulfill itself rather than God. As a result, no pampering of the flesh is permitted; we must deny the pleasures and indulgences of the flesh.

Can you see why it's important to have a strong spirit man in order to submit your flesh to God's will? What about the worldwide system of evil? Its attempts to draw us into its clutches must be resisted. A child of God, like the three Hebrew lads before Nebuchadnezzar, must know when and how to say No to an invitation to sin, no matter who is involved, and without blinking an eye (Daniel 3:16-17 ).
