Ghanaian guy Angel Maxine just came out to declare his membership in the country's growing LGBTQ community as well as to the rest of the world. He was born a boy named Angel Maxine but he changed his gender since he believes that's where he belongs.
In light of the Anti-LGBT measure being considered by Parliament for passage into law, his mother has sworn to stand by him even more forcefully.
TheProgrammeNews stumbled onto an interview with transgender activist Angel Maxine earlier today, which had been making the rounds on the internet. It was revealed in the video that Angel Maxine's mother told the nurses that even though she gave birth to a male (Angel Maxine), she believes her son is a female.
While discussing his feelings toward himself, he admitted that he believes that he is God's own image because of his transgender status. Angel Maxine reaffirmed her call for tolerance and acceptance of the LGBTQ community in Ghana.
