A Gauteng church pastor was found guilty of sexually grooming young children.
He groomed young children whose ages were given as three, four, six, eight and nine.
The 35-year-old pastor Lucky Magagula ran Etwatwa church in Barcelona, Ekurhuleni.
He was found guilty for a number of crimes that include introducing minors to porn, rape and exposing his privates to the young boys.
It is reported that Magagula would invite the young minors to his home for Bible studies and choir practice.
Thinking that their children were spiritually growing with the man of God, parents consented to the meetings.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana said the judge ordered that Magagula's name be added to the national register for sexual offenders and that he be declared unfit to possess a firearm.
The incident came to light when one of the boys told his grandmother about the ordeal. The grand mother in turn told the boys parents who dragged him to the police station were he was arrested and subsequently charged.
