What Are the Water and Blood that Testify about Jesus? (1 John 5:6)

Report:

John, in describing one of his letters to Christians in Asia Minor, described the truth about the coming of Jesus Christ to the earth as the Son of God. Not only that, but it is very clear that Jesus was truly God in the flesh.

Before this time, the church had doubts or misconceptions about the Lord to whom the disciples preached as their Savior. This was the result of the false teachers of the so-called gnostics, who claimed that Jesus was not God

John, therefore, was a disciple who was sitting with Jesus, who also was known as the man who sat next to him. And Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness because the Spirit is truth. "(1 John 5: 6).

Background:

John wanted Jesus to come with water and blood, not just water. In other words, water was used to show that Jesus Christ was not only the presence of God's spirit among men, for God is a Spirit (John 4:25; 7: 37-38), but He was also a man of flesh and BLOOD. The greatest proof that you are human is that you have blood. (Hebrews 2:14).

Therefore, John wanted to silence the false prophets and teachers in those days who taught the people that Jesus was not a man but was God and could not be killed. Jesus, rose again, with flesh and blood, revealed Himself to His disciples, and John was one of them. He was an eyewitness.
