Important Reasons why you should consider to pray in silence

Here are four important reasons why you should consider praying in silence. Everything every day will separate from you. You will connect with your soul and communicate effectively with God.

When you pray silently, you hear God easily.

One of the reasons we don't listen to God when we pray is because we keep shouting through our voices and pay less attention to listening to God. When you pray in silence, you have an opportunity to hear directly from God, as He generally speaks in silence. Read 1 Kings 19:12 below.

After the earthquake, there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a voice, a low whisper.

Silent prayers help us control our tongues.

Whenever we pray in silence, we learn to control our tongue. The Bible encouraged us to speak slowly. So when you pray in silence, you are exercising your tongue to control the volume of the words that come out of your mouth. Read the book of James 1:19 below.

My dear brothers, note: Everyone should listen quickly, speak slowly, and grow angry slowly.

Because Jesus prayed silently on earth

Most of the things we do as Christians, Jesus did on earth. If we can mimic it in other ways, then why can't we do the same thing in sentences? Jesus Christ loves to go to the mountains where there is absolute calm to pray. In those moments, he could communicate with God easily.

 Read Luke 6: 1213 below.

 12. One of those days, Jesus went to a mountainside to pray and spent the night praying to God. 13 When morning came, he called his disciples and chose twelve of them, whom he also appointed to be apostles.
