This morning, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Believers' Love World Incorporated, a well-respected Christian organization, posted on Facebook an explanation of why you shouldn't take anyone's nightmares about you seriously.
There are no dreams in Christianity, according to the clergy, as in the New Testament era of Christianity. "For as many as are led by the spirit..." is what the Bible says in Romans 8:14. He explained that the protagonist character's focus is on "the spirit" rather than "the dream."
According to Pastor Chris, if you experience a dream that contains a message from God, it will only be for you and no one else. In other words, neither you nor anybody else can have a dream for the other.
It's not from God, he added, so don't hope for relief from someone who claims to have had a dreadful dream about you.
Finally, he replied, "If you are born again, God won't warn you through another person's dream. Because of Pentecost, no apostles had been served in a dream since that time, according to him.
