When you can't find the words to pray, just chant this

When you can't find the words to pray, just chant this

Renowned leadership expert Myles Munroe said in a sermon on this topic that there is power in praying in a name particularly the name of Jesus. Similarly, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome speaking on the matter said; Jesus has given you the legal right to use His Name. You’ve got the right of attorney to function in His place, the same way a delegated member of a president’s cabinet can represent him at a state function.

There are times in our Christian life that we are lost of words to say in expressing ourselves in the place of prayer. We really want to pray but the words are not coming. Perhaps, it is due to the state of our hearts. Sometimes, it may be as a result of umconfessed sins or bitterness and anger that lurks in our hearts.

While we may stop the prayers completely to address whatever challenge identified, there is an all conquering solution found in the name of Jesus.

Therefore, when you find yourself struggling to pray, abadon your struggle, forget the prayer and just call or chant the name of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus as many times as you can say or chant.

There is something about the name of Jesus. As the Bible says there is no other name given to man but the name of Jesus. There is power in the name. It saves and heals. It energises.

Remember, the scriptures tell us the name of the Lord is a strong tower and the righteous runs to and their saved. The name of Jesus is a weapon in the mouth of genuine Christians who have received the revelation of the name. When you call or chant it, you are drawing on the energy and power represented in the name.

As you do so, it breaks down every barrier blocking your mind and mouth. Remember Jesus himself teaches us that no one comes to the Father except through the son who is Jesus. Therefore, any time you are weary or weak to pray, right there where you are, just open your mouth and say Jesus and every other thing will fall into place if only you will just keep the name long in your mouth.

The name brings the person of Jesus alive in and around you. It brings to your consciousness Jesus on the cross. It reminds you of his death, burial and resurrection and all the miracles and signs that are possible in his name.
