JOHANNESBURG - According to the eNCA, President Cyril Ramaphosa recently announced Lockdown level 3 easing the restrictions for South African's.
During president Cyril Ramaphosa's family meeting, he mentioned that 50 people is the maximum public gathering indoors and outdoors they must not exceed 100 people.
Public gatherings restrictions affects big churches negatively because they cannot operate with only 100 members while churches like Shepherd Bushiri ECG international Church and ZCC hosts millions church's members.
As for the Zion Christianity Church, it's almost a year without going to church due to covid-19 pandemic and 100 members it's just a drop of rain into the sea.
Some churches with small number of members are lucky enough because some of them tomorrow may go and worship God in their church.
The SANCF [South African National Christian Forum] is in talk with the government regarding the issue of reopening of churches, the issue is going to the high court and if the SANCF wins churches will start operating soon.
SANCF says that churches are following covid-19 health regulations and that's the reason why the government should open the house's of the Lord for his people to go and worship.
The South African National Christianity Forum further said that the government must stop it's hide and seek games they must open churches immediately.
