In Genesis 9:20–26, Noah begins to drink alcohol and becomes inebriated for the first time in the Bible. He plants a vine and begins drinking wine. Noah chastised his child Ham for becoming naked due to his intoxication and failure to cover up.
Noah ultimately condemned his son for his excessive consumption.
For a long time, one of the most contentious issues was whether Christians could consume alcohol. There is a reasonable explanation for this. Religious believers disagree on whether or not drinking alcohol appears to be against God's will. According to some Christians, the Bible does not prohibit Christians from drinking alcohol. And then there's the wine that elicits positive emotions.
Psalm 104:15 mentions wine as a source of joy for these people.
Why is it wrong if God bestows a gift on us in order to make our lives more enjoyable? Individuals who consume only freshwater are detrimental to their stomachs, but those who consume a small amount of wine are beneficial.
According to this scripture, wine is a healthful beverage.
The Bible forbids drinking alcohol only when it is consumed excessively.
Consuming so much alcohol that it jeopardizes the safety of others should be against the rules. Consuming alcohol, as the Bible indicates, can result in a variety of health problems. Excessive drinking can result in serious health and financial problems.
