ANC's Magashule Spotted At Zulu Royal Palace

At the Zulu Royal Palace, we see ANC leader Magashule.

A visit to the Zulu royal household, where amabutho greeted and photographed Ace Magashule sitting next to Prince Mangosuthu Bhuthelezi, was his next destination after being suspended as the ANC's secretary general.

King Misuzulu KaZwelithini was recently named as the lawful heir to the Zulu kingdom despite charges that President Cyril Ramaphosa's son, Andile, interfered in the process.

Several people objected, arguing that a king should never be chosen by a politician. However, their rise to power is influenced by long-standing customs.

One of his closest allies Carl Niehaus stated Magashule visited the Zulu royal house on Saturday, but Niehaus did not divulge what the goal of his visit was.

"Magashule, the ANC's secretary general, met with King Misuzulu Sinqobile Hlomesakhishlangu KaZwelithini and his family yesterday. He was greeted by a rapturous crowd. The name of the character is Bayede "Carl Niehaus made the comment.

Also, Magashule's visit to Kwa-Zulu Natal province comes at the same time as the province is gearing up for its province-wide conference.

In the Eastern Cape, the ANC is hosting a provincial conference this weekend, and those who support Babalo Madikizela's team and Andile Lungisa's bid for treasurer are expected to be triumphant in the end.

Meanwhile, in Kwa-Zulu-Natal, where RET-backed candidate Nomsa Dube is seeking the job of provincial chairperson, Ace Magashule is claimed to be turning things around in Free State.

It is claimed that even though they may lose this weekend in Eastern Cape due to the CR-backed slate's use of brown envelopes, the RET forces remain confident in their numbers.

In December, "I didn't think we had a chance against Cyril until this week," remarked the RET colleague.

Andile Lungisa has also stated that he is convinced that his slate will win the Eastern Cape Provincial Conference.
